Working alongside 6 multi-specialty ophthalmologists with extensive subspecialty support, you will utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment technology backed by an excellent clinical and administrative support staff.

What You'll Be Working On

  • Full-Scope Medical Care: Diagnosing, managing, and treating a wide variety of complex ocular diseases at the highest level of medical optometry.
  • Specialist Collaboration: Working closely alongside 6 multi-specialty ophthalmologists and subspecialists to co-manage complex medical cases.
  • Multi-Location Engagement: Traveling to multiple established, state-of-the-art clinic locations throughout Southern Illinois utilizing a company-provided vehicle.
  • Modern Infrastructure: Utilizing cutting-edge diagnostic and treatment technology to deliver exceptional care.
  • Teamwork & Continuity: Partnering with an outstanding clinical and administrative support staff to maintain efficient patient flow within an established referral network.

Qualifications

  • Education: Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school.
  • Licensure: Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Optometrist in the state of Illinois.
  • Training/Experience: Ocular disease residency training preferred, or equivalent medical optometry experience.
  • Clinical Focus: Strong interest and proven expertise in diagnosing and managing complex ocular pathology.
  • Communication: Excellent patient care, interpersonal, and communication skills to work effectively within a multi-specialty team environment.
