What Youll Be Working On

Performing comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments
Diagnosing and managing ocular diseases, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy
Co-managing pre- and post-operative care for cataract, LASIK, and other surgical patients
Prescribing and fitting glasses and contact lenses
Educating patients on eye health, disease prevention, and treatment options
Collaborating with ophthalmologists, opticians, and support staff to deliver seamless patient care
Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
Providing care across multiple practice locations as needed

Qualifications

Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Optometrist in Illinois
Experience level: open to early-career and experienced clinicians
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Demonstrated professionalism and attention to detail
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team-based clinical environment
Commitment to ethical standards and high-quality patient outcomes
