This practice is a privately-owned leader in the region, offering a sophisticated medical environment that integrates optometry and ophthalmology. With three different specialty areas under one roof, the practice provides a comprehensive continuum of care.
Providers are supported by high-quality infrastructure, including an in-office optical shop and a team-oriented atmosphere. The clinic utilizes Nextech EMR and is equipped with advanced diagnostic tools—including Humphrey Visual Field, Cirrus OCT, and fundus photography—to ensure the highest standards in disease diagnosis and treatment.
What You'll Be Working On
- Providing primary care and medical optometry services to patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric.
- Managing a balanced 50/50 split of medical exams and routine vision care.
- Collaborating closely with on-site ophthalmologists across three distinct specialty areas.
- Utilizing state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to effectively treat and manage ocular disease.
- Participating in a shared call rotation, distributed among a large team of 5–7 Optometrists.
- Contributing to a professional, patient-centric culture focused on quality clinical outcomes.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Optometrist in Arkansas.
- Strong clinical interest in both medical optometry and routine primary care.
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, collaborative multi-specialty setting.
- Proficiency or comfort with modern technology and Nextech EMR systems.
